Air Canada Baggage Policy

Air Canada's Business Class baggage policy offers generous allowances and premium services to ensure a seamless travel experience.

Checked Baggage Allowance

Business Class passengers are entitled to:

• Two checked bags, each weighing up to 70 lbs (32 kg) and measuring up to 62 linear inches (158 cm).

Passengers with Aeroplan Elite Status or Star Alliance Gold membership receive additional allowances:

• Three checked bags, each up to 70 lbs (32 kg).

Carry-On Allowance

All Business Class travelers may bring:

• One standard carry-on item (e.g., roller bag), and
• One personal item (e.g., laptop bag or purse).

These items are included free of charge, regardless of route.

Excess Baggage Fees

If your baggage exceeds the standard allowance:

• Extra checked bags: $225 CAD per additional bag.
• Overweight bags (51–70 lbs): $100 CAD.
• Oversized bags (63–115 linear inches): $100 CAD.
• If a bag is both overweight and oversized, only one $100 CAD fee applies.

Premium Services for Business Class

Business Class passengers enjoy several priority services:

• Priority check-in and security screening.
• Priority boarding and baggage handling.
• Access to Maple Leaf Lounges.
• On select routes, chauffeur service in Porsche vehicles for eligible Signature Class customers connecting through Toronto Pearson International Airport.
