British Airways Baggage Policy
British Airways provides generous baggage allowances for Business Class passengers, ensuring a comfortable and convenient travel experience.
Checked Baggage Allowance
Business Class passengers (Club Europe and Club World) are entitled to:
- Two checked bags, each weighing up to 70 lbs (32 kg) and measuring up to 35.5 x 29.5 x 16 inches (90 x 75 x 43 cm).
First Class passengers are allowed three checked bags under the same weight and size restrictions.
Carry-On Allowance
All passengers, including those in Business Class, may bring:
- One standard carry-on bag: up to 22 x 18 x 10 inches (56 x 45 x 25 cm).
- One personal item (e.g., laptop bag or handbag): up to 16 x 12 x 6 inches (40 x 30 x 15 cm).
Each carry-on item can weigh up to 51 lbs (23 kg).
Excess Baggage Fees
If your baggage exceeds the standard allowance:
- Overweight bags (51–70 lbs or 23–32 kg): £65/$100/€75 per bag.
- Oversized bags (up to 75 x 29.5 x 25.5 inches or 190 x 75 x 65 cm): may incur additional charges; items exceeding these dimensions are not accepted as checked baggage.
Note: Bags over 70 lbs (32 kg) are not accepted and must be shipped separately as cargo
Premium Services for Business Class
Business Class passengers enjoy several priority services:
- Priority check-in and security screening.
- Priority boarding and baggage handling.
- Access to British Airways lounges, including the Galleries Club Lounge.
- On long-haul flights, Club World offers lie-flat seats, premium dining, and enhanced in-flight entertainment.
