United Airlines Baggage Policy

United Airlines offers generous baggage allowances for Business Class passengers, ensuring a comfortable and convenient travel experience.

Checked Baggage Allowance

Business Class travelers, including those in United Polaris®, are entitled to:

• Two free checked bags, each weighing up to 70 lbs (32 kg) and measuring up to 62 linear inches (158 cm).

MileagePlus Premier members receive additional allowances:

• Premier Silver: Three free checked bags.
• Premier Gold, Premier Platinum, and Premier 1K: Three free checked bags.

Carry-On Allowance

All Business Class passengers may bring:

• One standard carry-on bag (maximum dimensions: 22 x 14 x 9 inches or 56 x 35 x 23 cm), and
• One personal item (maximum dimensions: 17 x 10 x 9 inches or 43 x 25 x 22 cm).

These items are included free of charge.

Excess Baggage Fees

If your baggage exceeds the standard allowance:

• Additional checked bags: $150–$200 USD per bag, depending on the route.
• Overweight bags:
  • 51–70 lbs (24–32 kg): $100–$200 USD per bag.
  • 71–100 lbs (33–46 kg): $400 USD per bag.
  • Bags over 100 lbs (46 kg) are not accepted.
• Oversized bags (63–115 linear inches): $200 USD per bag.
